1985 Black "California" IROC-Z

If you weren't in California in 1985, you've probably never seen one of these. Even in California not too many people are aware of them. It's called the "California IROC". Produced only at the end of the 1985 model year at the Van Nuys, Ca. plant before it closed forever. Only 500 (I've also heard 502) were built. The RPO code is 1C5 (California Promotional Package). Of course, each one sports the B4Z RPO (IROC-Z Performance Package), including 16" wheels. The only colors that were available were red (400) and black (100). They came from the factory with no hood louvers, no rear deck spoiler, no IROC-Z lettering, no stripes, and no TPI markings. A real sleeper, for sure. The window sticker shows a $75.00 credit for the deleted items on RPO 1C5.
